I eat here often. Food is always hot and good. Prices are decent. Sometimes the HVAC is uneven depending on where you sit.
Another ex employee got fired by the same mgr.... Have a manager named Ken called directly towards another employee the "N" word! That is uncalled for! And how some of the employees shoot up drugs in the bathroom and prepare foods that way. The mgrs are lazy n don't work. Food is not done according to the guests desire. U be amazed n disgusted on how the food is made. I seen many food code violations. I rather eat food out of trash than come back to eat from here again.
I would say this is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. The waitresses are friendly and the food is pretty good. In my opinion they have the best pancakes out of everyone in town.
I was in the area with my family and did not know what was around. I had heard that Perkin's had a good fish selection so that is what motivated me to check it out. To my surprise, the tilapia was as good as any I've had at any restaurant. The menu had many other selections that made going with a group easy. Similar to a Bob Evan's in quality, price and atmosphere.
I would have given it 5 stars but management has been making some changes to time proven foods on the menu, I guess to cut costs. Breakfast used to be the best ...Pancakes served with a scoop of whipped butter, biscuits came with whipped butter also. A few months ago I had my last breakfast there...The whipped butter was replaced with a pat of what I guess was to pass for oleo. I emailed the Perkins website about the gross oleo and got no response. All the workers there are very good, attentive and polite. It is a shame their boss does not care about the food quality on such a small item.
