I called back and the 2nd guy says his name is Allen and then with the attitude of a high school kid says "guess what my last name is". I just said good I wanted to know for a complaint. He then asks me to talk to him and goes on to say "now an inspection is 30 minutes and if you needed new brakes or something that would be at least an hour so you'd be be waiting anyway". Uh, no I wouldn't pal I'd make an appointment to get the work done or something. He made no sense with his babbling. Also he tried to say the appointment was specifically for 1 o'clock which was just a bold faced lie.

Never had any problems there. Got what I needed and reasonable prices.
So I take off from work to head out there, about 30 minutes from where I live, pretty inconvenient but based on the above feedback I figured these could be people I go to for all of my auto repair needs. I walk in and see 2 mechanics and an older guy doing nothing. I saw there was some delivery food on the counter. It was 1:25, within the "window" of my appointment. I proceed to tell them I have an appointment to get my car inspected. The 2 mechanics were there and one says "Oh it's going to be at least 30 minutes, we gotta eat too." I say "Did I have an appointment?" Then they chuckle and point to this older guy and the guy says "You're gonna have to talk to him." They go get the older guy and he rudely says "It's going to be at least 30...no, why don't you just go." I laughed in his face and say I couldn't agree more. I decided on my way home this was so pathetic I wanted the owner's name so I called and asked for it. The 1st guy hung up on me.
Should be ashamed of themselves. I had an experience here yesterday that was so bad I am actually perplexed that these guys are in business. It takes a lot for me to complain but I do feel it is necessary to protect other would be consumers from them.
Honest and friendly staff and very reasonable pricing.
Alan and his employees are always very helpful and very curtious. I would recommend his place of business to anyone who is looking for a good and honest auto repair garage.
I set an appointment to have my car inspected by them last week. I didn't understand why the guy couldn't commit to a certain time, it had to be a window "between 1 and 130", which was fine. The conversation in setting up the appointment was bizarre enough in that he kept having me ask about different days and giving me reasons why those days didn't work instead of just focusing on when WOULD work. I eventually had to ask "So what DOES work?"
For the inability to be honest and keep an appointment like the rest of the world, for the horrible and completely immature attitude and for wasting my time DO NOT under any circumstances deal with these people. Hope they enjoyed their lunch though.
