I went To look at a 1966 corvette with my expert who immediately found frame damage and told me to stay away , we did see however see a 1970 Chevelle, which the salesman Dave Rico said was a full frame off restoration and was saying what a nice car it was.
bent drive shaft
UPDATE: 7/1/17

My bill is at 5500 right now and it's been in the shop since I bought it .. Dave asked me to see the bill so I sent it and no response , no surprise.. so here at autosport remember this la caveat emptor ,Let The Buyer Beware!'
parking lights on side
He also stated that everything worked on the car and it was one of his pet peeves .. so here's what didn't work .. let's start small and work our way up.
If you're thinking of purchasing a car here, you better have a few thousand dollars extra to put into the car no matter what they tell you.
I bought a white 2005 Chevy Corvette off of Dave at AutoSport about a year and a half ago. They are a local dealership and I knew they always had nice Corvettes. I went down looking for a nice C6 and they had just what I wanted. I am really enjoying the car and can’t wait to get it out this summer. I did a couple of performance mods to the car and it really runs and sounds awesome! They also do detailing down there and I get it detailed at least twice a year. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a nice Corvette!
I had an excellent experience trading my Beetle for a Boxster. No pressure, no hassles. Excellent car buying experience. Since it was Saturday and it took an hour for the title to come in from Indiana, they even bought me lunch! On the ride home the check engine light came on. I called them back not expecting much help, but they offered to cover the fix. Luckily, my mechanic was able to reset the code and the car is fine. Just a dirty O2 sensor.
clutch
linkage rods which he told me were stiff from a new build but they were bent
wrong transmission (claimed Muncie, was a Saginaw)
There is more but I'm getting tired .. Now I know what you're thinking... did he even look at it? I blame my so called expert as well but a little more disclosure on the salesmans part would have been nice ..
I been dealing with them for the past few years I can't ask anything better than this dealership around this area, all there cars are very clean I bought 07 350z from them and it was the best deal ever.
carburetor was missing the choke flap carb was shot
Dave Rico told my expert and myself that the car was a 454 LS6. That's why he was asking the money he was asking. After my mechanic was suspicious, he pulled off the valve cover, gave me the casting number, which showed that it was a 396. Pretty much anything he told me and my expert was a lie.
the wrong flywheel was on there
the radio
Excellent experience all around, gave me a great deal on a flawless Benz CLA250, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them for future cars. Knowledgeable, fair, honest, and professional. Exactly how a dealer should be. Thank you
