I have gone to trailz end for over 10 years. I have bought several bikes over the years and have sent many people there with no complaints. Ed is a rider so he knows how to direct people into the right bike. Trek and Specialized brands are the best in the industry. Go check them out!
My wife, a novice bike rider, bought a bike there when I first met her. He sold her what he had in the store, a Trek women's specific bike, that did not fit her at all. When questioned after the purchase, he just shrugged and said there is nothing he could do, she picked the bike. My wife said there was no attempt to size the bike properly for her. He also did not even honor the 30 day tune up he supposedly offers. Wasted purchase for my wife. Have not used that bike shop since. Fortunately there are other bike shops nearby that provide better service.
My boyfriend and I just bought bikes here. We described where we'd be riding and he set us up with great bikes! He was very helpful and allows you to test ride the bikes in town to make sure the fit is right. Super nice guy!!
